# Quickstart

1. **Install Nib** — a human installs `Nib.app` to `/Applications` (download link on the home page).
2. **Connect your agent** — open Nib → **Set up agents…**, or paste the config from [Agent setup](/docs/agent-setup) / [Install](/install).
3. **Restart** Claude Code, Codex, or Claude Desktop after changing MCP config.
4. **Verify** — ask your agent to call `get_state`; you should see an active `.nibs` path.
5. **Design** — paste a [prompt template](/docs/prompt-templates) or describe what you want; the agent uses the canvas, screenshots, and export tools.
